Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Take two slices of Bimbo® Classic Bagels.
Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet and sprinkle with grated Emmental cheese or place Emmental cheese slices on each half.
Place the bagel in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Meanwhile, prepare the caramelized onions. Peel the onion and slice it thinly.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion slices and cook for a few minutes until softened.
Add the brown sugar to the onions and stir well to combine. Cook the caramelized onions for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and caramelized.
Remove the bagels from the oven and place the turkey slices on one of the halves.
Add a generous portion of caramelized onions on top of the turkey.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover the bagel with the other half, pressing gently to combine all the ingredients.
Your turkey bagel with melted Emmental cheese and caramelized onions is ready to enjoy! You can serve it warm or let it cool slightly before eating.
